Avoid coastal me-too light industry and take niche tracks:

Lishui: bamboo/wood toys, stainless kitchenware, outdoor camping smalls;

Quzhou: fire/emergency gear, compact fitness equipment, agri-processed foods;

Zhoushan: marine parts, water-sports fishing gear, seafood prepared meals — unique ocean specialties.

Zhejiang’s export strength rests on a deep manufacturing base. Unlike hubs that rely mainly on “cross-border small-parcel DDU”, about 80% of Zhejiang cross-border export is B2B — factory-direct, large lots, overseas distribution.

County-level industry belts

Linping: fashion womenswear, silk, down jackets, home textiles (Yishang Town, leading apparel brands)

Xiaoshan: down products, umbrellas, hardware tools, outdoor tents, beach goods (China’s top umbrella and down export cluster)

Yuhang: home storage, small appliances, pet supplies, wearables, livestream e-commerce HQs

Fuyang: paper goods, stationery, badminton rackets, sports gear, camping equipment

Lin’an: decorative lighting, solar garden lights, hardware, bamboo/wood home, outdoor lighting

Tonglu: knit scarves, hats and gloves, knit accessories, Christmas gifts

Jiande: plumbing, sanitary hardware, outdoor patio furniture
